Brachyura

Details

I conceived this work as a visual manifestation of the tactical war between the body and the cancer. In this illustration, I have sought to internalize the law of force and intelligence, translating the biological fight for survival into a visual grammar of raw texture and high-contrast shadow. By isolating these forms, I invite you to witness the relentless historical truth of a struggle that transcends aesthetic beauty. The coiling serpents and the resilient shell of the Brachyura represent a strategic triangulation of willpower and biological reality, designed to build an affective bond through the invisible structure of human endurance.

The Collection

The Lex Natura series is a collection of pseudo-technical illustrations that demonstrate the law of force and intelligence through a rigorous, archival lens. Adopting a scientific and documentary style reminiscent of 19th-century taxonomical plates, these monochromatic works explore themes of evolution and biological struggle with extreme precision.
